Where the data comes from
Every notice originates on CanadaBuys, the Government of Canada's official tendering portal, published in English and French as the buying department posts it. GovTender doesn't scrape a summary or a cached snapshot - it reads the notice itself, including the UNSPSC classification code each tender is posted under, so scoring reflects what a department is actually buying, not just its title.
That same UNSPSC matching is why your company profile asks for the codes you sell against, not a free-text keyword list - it's the same classification buyers use to post, so it's the most reliable way to connect the two sides.
